Long weekend

I love long weekends but they always seem to go way to fast!!!

So Friday night Jesse left to go up to McGregor with his brother, and Brekyn and I just hung out and did nothing. Saturday I got my hair done It has some blonde in it now with this redish-purple base color. Very cute! And then I went downtown with Anna and some other friends.

Sunday we were supposed to go to the MOA but that fell through so Anna and the boys came over to see our new house! And then Brekyn and I packed up and go ready to go up North. Well of course as we are ready to leave it starts hailing! So we waited for that to pass and then we left. It took us like 2 hours to get up there and the weather was fine the whole way. Brekyn slept most of the way because I had her and Jace go outside and run around before we left I didn’t want to listen to are we there yet or can I call someone the whole way up there.

When we got up there we ate and then we all went out. Which I am surprised but I made it all night!!! Which normally I am sitting there at like 10 falling asleep. Sunday morning we got up and got ready and came home, Jesse and I both weren’t feeling good so we just wanted to come home. (Jesse had an all day hangover) We all took naps and then watched Home on the Range and Brother Bear. Then we made a fort in Brekyn’s room which she ended up sleeping in.

It was a really fun weekend but it always seems to go by so fast!!!

We moved yesterday

So we had closing yesterday, after 4 long hours and a lot of things going wrong we finally got the keys to our house! Jesse, his dad, and his brother got all of our stuff over to the house and unloaded pretty quickly. His mom came over and helped clean cabinets and put stuff away.

I went to take a shower last night and we found out that there is no hot water going to the tub/shower. So Jesse took the handle off thinking that might be the issue and couldn’t get any hot water. There is hot water to all the sinks and everything else just not there. So my dad is over today trying to help Jesse get this fixed. I guess I am happy I found out last night and was able to run to his parents house to take a shower, I could have found out this morning when getting ready for work!!!

So Jesse should have everything put away and put together by the time I get home today. My parents are there helping today so it shouldn’t take to long!!

After all the problems we are very happy to be in our house!! We should be getting our garage door opener installed sometime in the next week, and picking out a kitchen table hopefully this weekend.

Our House

So the house we are buying is a foreclosure, but it was builder owned so it has never been lived in. It was also the model so it has all the little upgrades!! It is 3 bedroom with a full walk thru bathroom and then a 1/2 bath down in the kitchen. It doesn’t have a basement but thats fine with us. It has a double garage which has a faucet in the garage which makes Jesse happy. (He is easy to please:)) It has 3 bedrooms all upstairs. Brekyn has picked the room with the large walk-in closet, which works out good because then the babies room is right next to  ours! We also have a large laundry room with a set tub and cabinets!!! We are really excited!!!

Exciting Week

So I have never done this blog thing but thought I would give it a try!

We have a very exciting week this week!! First last Wednesday I had my 12 week check up and we were trying to hear the heart beat with the doppler. Well after a few minutes of not hearing it I was worried and I think the doctor sensed that because he said lets go do an ultrasound and see what’s going on. It took a minute to find the baby on that as well because it was swimming all over the place!!! After watching it swim in and out a few times the doctor said I think those are little boy parts in there So as of right now we think its a boy!!!! Which Jesse is just ecstatic. Brekyn seemed a little disappointed when we told her because she was like are you sure? She would love a little sister. So either way one of them is going to be disappointed.

Our second big excitement this week is that we are closing on our house this Wednesday!!!! Fianlly! Our closing is at 9:30 in the morning so I took the whole day off of work to get moved in and everything. I am so excited to finally be moving into our house.

Other than that we don’t have to much else going on. We were outside most of the weekend so Brekyn and I got a little sun burned, but it felt good to be outside in the nice weather!!!
